Is it an exaggerated goal to want to create your own cartoon show ?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under teens gallery | 1 Comment »

I’m 15 and this is my dream goal, to create my own animated adventure show for kids/teens that becomes popular. I like drawing allot, its not much but here is my dA gallery http://ccandy.deviantart.com/gallery/ though it doesn’t really show any of my ideas for a show.

Nope. It’s not hard at all… maybe a teensy bit but it’s not so bad. Getting it popular may be hard, though. I just started the first episode of a cartoon, and I’m 16. (I don’t plan on it being big though.) A big tip is to go buy a book on animation and cartoons and read it. It’s worth the time to read, trust me. I learned a lot of things. It also takes a ton of time. D: It really does. Good thing you like drawing a lot, because you will be. You just need the right materials and a ton of perserverence. A quick tip: start with the script.

What is the name of the episode of "Night Gallery" where a girl has an imaginary friend whose a tiger?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under gallery girls | 1 Comment »

The tiger turns out to be a real tiger, just an invisible one. At the end of the episode, the little girl goes to bed for the night, and her imaginary friend the tiger kills both of her parents in their bedroom while we hear them screaming as they are killed horribly, all the while, the little girl sleeps as if nothing is happening.

Don’t ask here on Yahoo Q&A. Most people are teens without specific / general knowledge. Although actually this might be a good question to ask if I know think about it :)

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under young gallery | 1 Comment »

I remember watching a drama on TV about a young man who duped the british art establishment, his work was done in his garage, and his father took them to very respectable galleries, before they got caught.I think the Actor Peter Vaughn played the father. What was the name of the drama

The UK and in particular London is considered to be the art capital of Europe. I want to know what are the best galleries in the UK which specialise in contemporary realism.

Anybody seen the Picasso exhibition at the National Gallery? Why do artists go weird?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under artists gallery | 8 Comments »

Seems to me that Picasso was a brilliant man and very aware of deep emotional chasms, but I would not hang one of his blue period paintings on my wall! It’s like putting on a non stop Leonard Cohen record! And you’d have to sleep with a shotgun under your bed!

Art isn’t always about ‘expressing yourself’. Sometimes artists push us to view art and visualization itself in a different way through ‘weird’ techniques like Cubism.

How much does it cost to open an art gallery?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under art gallery | 3 Comments »

The art gallery would mainly sell prints, posters, and some origional oil paintings. I am thinking of renting a store in the mall.
Other than monthly rent what other expenses are and how much?

A very important resource if you are interested in starting an art gallery is Art Business News http://www.artbusinessnews.com . This is the trade magazine for the art business, and you can find loads of helpful information from this excellent publication. I am getting a free copies of this mag, so check if you can also get one (I think a year’s subscription is around $149)

The cost of starting your own gallery would include:

- Rental
- Leasehold improvements
- Utilities
- Equipment (burglar alarm system, credit card terminals, etc)
- Initial marketing (pre-launch, launching, etc.)
- Furniture
- Inventory

what does a blue dot next to a painting mean in a gallery?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under painting gallery | 1 Comment »

I know red dot means it is sold. Does blue dot mean it is not for sale or what?

Quite often it indicates that the picture has been reserved by a potential buyer who wants a few days to make a definite decision.
Sometimes it is to show that the work is not for sale.
It depends on the gallery.

Who was the famous artist caught, arrested for re-touching his own work in a gallery?

Expanded question: What was the name of the artist, (Famous) who was caught in a gallery one night, with paints, re-touching up his own painting, and they had him arrested because the work was considered important? (I’m guessing this was in France by-the-way)…

leonardo davincci

Where can I find picture gallery upload sites?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2009 and filed under picture gallery | 2 Comments »

I need a site where I can upload adult pictures to my private gallery and make it password protected!

Flickr has a way of making pictures viewable by everyone, only friends, only family contacts, only friends and family, or only you.
