BAD ART GALLERY – Run by two enterprising WOMEN. At the moment the Gallery is acting as The SALON DE REFUSES…hosting work rejected by the RHA Summer Show…who rejects everyone except themselves …haha. Opened by Bertie Ahern…ex Prime Minister (Taoiseacht).

    Brilliant! Art is so subjective!

    The most ‘valuable’ painting I own was a gift – I hate it. Two of my treasured paintings are gloriously bad art! One is a vase of flowers we bought as impoverished newlyweds. Buying it without a frame saved us 60%. ;) The other is of a farm house in rural Quebec painted by my uncle. Looking at them always makes me smile!!!

    OMG! What a …
    OMG! What a brilliant idea! Here in Ann Arbor, we have a huge art festival in July and the same is true about those who get rejected. It’s extremely difficult to get into the high end juried portion of the fair because the judges pick the same snobs every year even though much better art is often rejected.
