What can I bring to a birthday party at an art gallery?

I have a birthday party at an art gallery, and I don’t know the birthday girl that much, but we have friends in common, and I really don’t know what could I get as a birthday present or something to bring to the party? Thanks!

Since I have absolutely no idea how old the parties involved are, including you, my dear – I will offer several answers.
If one decides to hold a birthday party at an art gallery, it would be a common assumption that one is interested in the arts, eh? If the birthday girl is a teenager or younger person, a pretty picture frame is always a welcome gift to a female. Stein Mart, Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx have awesome and numerous selections from which to choose. Many are already inscribed with sayings such as, "My friends and me", "A Great Celebration", etc.
If you and the birthday girl are over 21 (and I stress that point here), a bottle of good wine with a pretty ribbon would be apropos for this type of gathering. One can always get a gift basket with cheeses, pates, and the like, also.
If all else fails and you don’t like these suggestions, ask one of your mutual friends where you could obtain a gift certificate for something that she would like at a store where she shops often.
