Can anyone help me remember the name/artist of a painting in the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.

I can only remember that it is of a Turkish man (I think?) lying on his front reading something.

I purchased PLAID"s glass painting kit (gallery glass). Was wondering if I can use these to paint on canvas? Has anyone tried it on canvas? Also on what surfaces can I paint on apart from glass?

Go to Plaid’s website and ask them this question. People will tell them when they try it, so that’s the best place to look for this kind of info. You might try putting it on a canvas and then treating it with a heat gun. Experimentation is the heart of art, and that could be a very interesting experiment. Don’t hold the heat gun so close to the canvas that it melts or burns it.
