It was years ago that I read an article on him which, I think, still applies to his work–the mixture of elements of the kind you would encounter in a jazz band, each one individual, but contributing to the whole, in a wonderful ensemble kind of way. I love your showing the small works of artists. I can’t believe how Lasker’s sketches are so precisely worked out.
