I’ve got the streptocarpus bug. . . . .I love the Dibbleys stuff, but have spied weird & wonderful varieties online – a photo gallery of flowers – but have absolutely no idea where to source some of these more unusual things. A serious 7 hour trawl of the web has left me thinking I’ll have to get plants from the U.S.A. . . . .Megabucks. Can anyone recommend a small nursery, plant breeder or anything that I can buy some young plants from in the u.k ?

Where are you based?
Some areas have huge garden shows at the larger agricultural sites and this brings in all sorts of specialist growers and some of these are importing plants and stuff from the states and Australia and all sorts of things. They are also growing from seeds as well.
If you were to go to a couple of these shows, often held over a Bank Holiday weekend you would get to talk to growers and importers face to face.
You could also ask the question in the garden magazines that are available on the shelves in the newsagent.
